During 1930, the Colombian airline SCADTA (now AVIANCA), and NYRBA (New York, Rio, & Buenos Aires Airline) were acquired (bringing many qualified personnel, nearly 30 almost new multi-engined planes, and the Panair Do Brasil subsidiary).
Panagra merged with Braniff International Airways in 1967. Pan American-Grace.com was designed by Chip and Jef Reahard as a tribute to Panagra captain J.F. Reahard, Jr. and the rest of the men and women who flew the line.
Mr. Thomas H. Coulter, Braniff’s Assistant Treasurer, will retire from the Company after nearly 39 years of service. Mr. Coulter first began his airline career with Pan American Grace Airways, Inc., in 1946, at Lima, Peru.
