In the white princess if is very heavily implied that perkin is Richard and that in executing him they bring down their own curse upon the Tudors regulating in the death of Arthur and (in her later books) Henry duke of Cornwall and Edward vi.

Their love story in the series is way better than what PG portrayed in the book. The Perkin Warbeck/Richard Duke of York plot is an interesting dramatic conflict for Elizabeth of York. The characterizations of Elizabeth Woodville and Margaret Beaufort were both a lot harder/one-dimensional than the previous series though.
