Aug 6, 2014 · These wonderful color photos made during World War II by Canadian Army photographers. The majority were taken on Kodachrome film--significant, as Kodachrome is by far the most stable color film, resulting in colors that are just as vibrant today as in 1943.
Alexander’s memory is commemorated on Page 331 of the First World War Book of Remembrance in Ottawa. During the course of his service in France he had been “Mentioned in Dispatches”.
