    Following a decades-long break from the industry, Oscar winner Fraser made a triumphant return in The Whale, which follows the story of a reclusive man trying to repair his relationship with his teen daughter.

    Smith won his first Oscar in 2022 for his performance as Richard Williams — Venus and Serena's father — in King Richard. The moment was overshadowed, though, as earlier in the night the actor slapped comedian Chris Rockon stage following a joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
