Siegfried in Philadelphia in 1838.It was republished in New York in 1842 under the title Ambrosio de Letinez: or The First Texian Novel, by A. F. Myrtle, a pseudonym, probably, for Anthony Gamilh, who copyrighted the work in 1842.
