Jul 23, 2022 · Mike Moynihan — a big vintage collector who hosts the podcast Golden Age of Cardboard — recently unveiled his Vintage 100 Index for baseball cards. Post-war to 1980s cards, it tracks prices from Jan 1, 2019 for PSA grades equivalent to the decade the card was issued (e.g. 1960s cards look at PSA 6s).

On May 7th, for example, MJ’s rookie sold for $96,000, a 112% increase from its last sale on 3/26. The card’s next few sales dipped until a new high of $99,630 on May 20th.
