Learning English idioms is possibly the hardest task to be achieved. According to Glucksberg (1993), understanding the meaning of the idioms may be known from the meaning of one of their subcomponents but usually, the meaning is totally different.

It is hypothesized that teaching of idioms and proverbs increase students’ vocabulary, help them understand grammar and sentence structure, grasp the meaning and culture of English, and finally use English naturally and confidently.
Because of idioms, learning a language can be complicated. Since vocabulary and culture are intertwined, speakers can gain more vocabulary through idioms and conversely, can learn more about idioms from being exposed to the target culture.

Idioms appear to be the most difficult to learn since their application ranges from the formal to clichéd and from informal to folksy/slang, including proverbs (Spears, 1996). Idioms are a combination of words that always come together in a certain order and to which
