Why are some debutantes called "Miss" and some are "Lady" during the presentation to Queen Charlotte? Show Discussion I'm a bit confused, their mothers are titled (Baroness, Countess etc) and called " Lady Noble Surname " in the announcement so I assumed the debutantes should be part of nobility/Ton as well.
