There’s a possibility that you’re not getting any SMS messages on your iPhone because there’s a glitch with your cellular radio or the wireless software.
- Turn On iMessage. If you're not receiving messages from iPhone, iPad, and Mac users, the iMessage toggle might be disabled in the Settings app. iMessage is Apple's proprietary message service, denoted by blue bubbles in a message window.

Dec 22, 2020 · 4 points. SMS not working on Iphone 12. HI - does anyone have any advice. I have recently got my iphone 12 (mini) and now my sms's are not coming through. They are up to a day late. I have reset my network settings (after rebooting) and that seemed to work for a short while but now am back to delayed reception of sms's. Any ideas?
