Aug 16, 2023 · Make sure the Messages app settings on the iPhone is configured to "forward" messages as well to that new Mac. On iPhone, go to Settings --> Messages --> Text Message Forwarding and make sure the new Mac is enabled there. There is a glitch in iOS17.
Jan 19, 2021 · On your Mac, open Messages and choose Messages > Preferences > iMessages. Make sure that both devices are signed in with the same Apple ID. Then, on your iPhone, go back one screen and check Text Message Forwarding to make sure your Mac has been selected. If it is, deselect your Mac and restart your iPhone.
