COVID-19 pandemic
- Canada's largest movie exhibitor, Cineplex Inc., will keep its doors closed nationwide into the foreseeable future amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
But why wait for the government? Did they not make an announcement already regarding the max capacity for theatres the other day? Are they expecting the government to reverse this decision that they make for tomorrow morning??
Get ready to be thrilled, chilled, and utterly captivated. Unmissable Movies Coming to Cineplex This October. “Have no fear! Cineplex’s October Watchlist is here!”. Canada's most popular destination for movies, showtimes, tickets, and trailers.
Ever since Ontario and other provinces announced restrictions, Cineplex has been posting showtimes last minute, so the next few days showtimes will probably be posted tomorrow morning. It's so they don't have to refund tickets. For example, the Quebec government ordered movie theatres to be closed.
They just haven't released tickets yet. Tickets for Dec 29-Jan 6 should come out Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
