What I have concluded: If you see the "Set THX Spatial Audio as default device" message in the bottom of the Mixer tab in Razer Synapse, and then click "Set Default" and if the message remains, the problem does NOT get fixed. Sometimes clicking the "Set Default" will remove the prompt and fix the issue, however this only worked for me one time.
