John J. Sheridan is the lead character in the fictional universe of the science-fiction television series Babylon 5, played by Bruce Boxleitner. For most of the series, he is the commander of the Babylon 5 station; during the series' final season he is the President of the Interstellar Alliance.
Sheridan was already dead at Z'ha'dum, his live force expired/expended because of the nuclear attack. Lorien simply infused him with a kind of bio-electric energy that kept Sheridan's cells/body going. But the energy was infinitesimally small by universal standards.
One person pointed out (which I had not realized until now) that what happened to Sheridan in Sleeping in Light was foretold in The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari when Londo sees Sheridan in his coma. I could not find a clip of it online, but watch the episode starting at 23 minutes in.
