It's been a crazy ASUN title race with 4 teams finishing within 1/2 a game of first, but even crazier is their conference tournament format. It's designed solely to protect the RPI of potential at-large hopefuls or a title favorite that gets eliminated. Here's the gist of it:
Conference changes. Due to the offseason additions of Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, and Jacksonville State, the ASUN changed the conference play format. The conference was split into East and West Divisions.
