  4. Nov 22, 2023 · If you power cycle the 2600+ off/on each time, then you have to wait for the 2600+ to boot up internally first before it starts to load the game. The hot swap works exactly as it sounds too. The 2600+ detects when you have a game in the console.

  5. Sometimes inserting, removing and reinserting the cartridge a few times does the trick. Worse case, the rom chip in the cartridge is bad (it’s rare but happens) and there’s little you can do to fix the cartridge (other than replacing the rom). Blow on them... just kidding.

  6. I didn't go thru all my cartridges last night, but did play a few side by side and noticed some things. 1). Tapper took a few tries to load on the plus, once it did it felt like it wasn't registering every time I pushed the button to serve drinks. The colors were a little different too. 2).
