   Nov 27, 2023 · The issue goes beyond the carts. The 2600+ doesnt accept some controllers (ie:driving controller, Star Raiders keypad, not sure about keyboard controllers), and maybe a firmware update can address this. Im not complaining at all about 2600+.

   Dec 28, 2023 · The problem is caused by the dumper and not the emulator. Did you successfully update the dumper firmware using AtariDumper1.1.0.2.exe ? To check this you can run the tool again and repeat the 1st instructions for detection and check the device version: Confirmed that my dumper is updated with exact info you posted in screenshot.

   Jul 3, 2024 · Update the dumper chip using the Dumper Tool. Update the Windows drivers using the Driver Assistant. Update the emulator firmware using the RKDevTool software and the update image. This whole process took me about 5 minutes. When I finished and rebooted the 2600+ I could see the version was now 1.1 with Stella version 6.7. Comments.

   Jan 3, 2024 · I was able to do the first update in December, I had trouble finding the unknown device under Device Manager last time, but I found out that the 2600+ showed up as an Evercade since I updated it on the PC I am using.

   • Open AtariDumper1.1.0.2.exe, You should see the status as Detected in green text Press Download and it takes about 5 seconds to flash the dumper chip. The status then goes to red not detected and thats it the dumper chip is updated. The machine needs to add a driver to your Laptop/PC to talk to the 2600+. You only need to do this once.
