Nov 27, 2023 · It would be nice if when a cartridge is not present or a cartridge is removed, instead of saying "Loading Game Failed", it should say "Please Insert Game Cartridge". When a game is loading, instead of saying "Loading Game..."
Dec 14, 2023 · I’m loving my 2600+ so far, however I am noticing that games fail to load for me on a somewhat frequent basis. Doesn’t seem to be tied to any particular game and it seems to happen with original cartridges as well as new ones like Mr. Run and Jump.
Jan 8, 2024 · The new Atari 2600+ 1.1 Beta Firmware is out (if you haven't heard) and there's a few improvements. Some games work now and some still don't!

There are beta updates to the Atari 2600+ firmware, but when I tried to download the packages to update the firmware from AtariAge, Chrome just about threw a fit, claiming it was malware, and I'm always wary of bricking a device with not-quite-official updates.
Jul 3, 2024 · Unfortunately, when the 2600+ was released in 2023 it wasn’t compatible with some old games including Donkey Kong Jr. and Robot Tank and some newer games such as Circus Convoy. The good news is that there have been several firmware and emulator updates that resolve many of the issues users have encountered.
