Mar 13, 2017 · - Re-installed Steam AGAIN; this time, though, I removed EVERY instance of Steam and my games from my computer first (I saved all my game data to a flash drive beforehand) Now that I've re-installed Steam deleted all my games and the problem still isn't fixed, I'm completely without any of the games in my Steam library. Feb 26, 2022 · Ensure that Steam can still see your 2nd drive, visit settings, and check the library manager, if it see it can try right click, and do repair, afterwards restart steam, and see if issue resolve itself. Ensure you have enough space in the first place for the 2nd drive for whatever you're trying to download.
Jul 3, 2021 · I have been using my "windows on a stick" drive to play Steam games for a while now (thanks for the video @Mockduck).I have been very satisfied, and found I can get the great majority of games running, provided that I take some of the steps mentioned above (tone down performance settings and upgraded ram).

This results in much less data to be transferred and overall quicker downloads if your hardware can handle it, but also more work for your drive and CPU. Jul 19, 2021 · Anyone else have an issue or am I doing something completely wrong. I have an external ssd that I formatted per atari instructions and that went off without a hitch. The issue is only when I play steam. Games I tried were Fire Pro World, Roller Coaster Tycoon World, Parkitect, Deus Ex, and Game Deb Tycoon.
