soom Sep 15 2022 10:14 pm January--AFAIK...yes his family name is Wi and correct way for strangers to say his name is to formally say his Whole name, not to use his personal name Ha-joon, but his Whole name : wi ha-joon ("wee HAH'-june"). If you were very close friends or family you could drop his family name. no creating nicknames or such if you want to be polite.
