Some provinces limit the total amount of years you can participate in high school football (i.e. Nova Scotia has 3 year maximum). Most provinces are January school years with the exception of Alberta (and Nova Scotia use to be so this class is still on that schedule).

For the first time in a decade, the CFC50 Canadian High School Football Rankings were sadly put on hold due to the worldwide pandemic. The CFC50 has provided inspiration for high school programs across Canada to strive for greatness, and also created a nationwide network for coaches and prospects to connect on a personal level.

Here are the Weekly Top-10 Rankings for all three classifications of 12-a-side high school football in Alberta and the 9-a-side plus 6-a-side rankings as well for the 2024 season. The teams are slotted based on their estimated school size as determined by the Alberta Schools Athletic Association.
