Shallowing the club is incredibly counter-intuitive. I started driving the ball deep again and hitting the ball over the outfielders and hitting homers again. I never got comfortable with the cut swing even after 2-3 years and thousands on thousands of swings off a tee and batting practice. It is MUCH easier to hit a line drive with a cut swing.
