Feb 9, 2008 - Howard Norman Sheffield Passes On. Peacefully , at home in Collingwood, on Saturday February 9th, 2008, at the age of 81. Beloved son of the late Wilfred and Ildia. Lovingly remembered by his brother Wilfred Jr., sister Yvonne and the late Bernice, Edward and Frank and many nieces and nephews.

Later they established Sheffield’s Cedar Inn Restaurant in Collingwood. During segregation times, Black tourists travelling to the area would seek the safe accommodation available at Sheffield’s Cedar Inn.
