Origin
In the 2015 adaptation, the Overlords' homeworld is Jenjedda, the sixth planet in the Carina system, located 1100 ly away from Earth. It is a hell-like planet, with advanced chrome cities growing out of lava rivers. One spot emits a beam of light, the Overmind, which has been guiding Overlord civilization for 100 000 years.
