While there are good people, actions are reasonable and plans actually exist outside of charging into an enemy base and expecting to win. A lot of animes just throw plans out the window and the mcs just jump into a fight. Ainz is OP and we only see the good fights when he faces a decent opponent other than that it's a few fun curb stomps.

However, Momonga, a powerful wizard and master of the dark guild Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to spend his last few moments in the game as the servers begin to shut down.
What makes it great is that it is committed to realism and destroying all the naivety that is intrinsically built into the isekai fantasy while still retaining the humour that makes the journey so much more enjoyable. Ains must deal with the ramifications of actually becoming his playable character.

Sep 5, 2020 · The series is a good choice for action enthusiasts who live for brutal fight scenes and can tolerate the use of some profanities. Having said that, Overlord paints a unique picture accompanied by some well-constructed characters.
