Overlord is a show with a somewhat interesting premise and mediocre execution that has a couple very popular elements in it (isekai, harem, op protag). It doesn't do anything particularly well, but it has its moments. It's on the same level as Devil is a Part-Timer. Utterly average.

While there are good people, actions are reasonable and plans actually exist outside of charging into an enemy base and expecting to win. A lot of animes just throw plans out the window and the mcs just jump into a fight. Ainz is OP and we only see the good fights when he faces a decent opponent other than that it's a few fun curb stomps.
Overlord. When a popular MMORPG is scheduled to be shut down permanently, veteran player Momonga refuses to log out. As NPCs begin to develop personalities and minds of their own he decides to put his skills to use as the game's new overlord.
