A Nightmare on Elm Street: Trailer #2. A re-imagining of the horror icon Freddy Krueger, a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality.
Logic states that the dream world is connected to the dream world and all dream world rules may or may not apply to the real world. That was more metaphorical than literal. When he "comes out" of jesse, its really just Jesse putting on the glive he found at the beginning of the movie. Its always Jesse though.
It's a great example of how you do a slasher remake properly. Hell, I'd even argue that Rob Zombie's Halloween succeeded better than this, because at least he was trying to bring a new dimension to the character of Michael Myers, however misguided it may have been. But A Nightmare on Elm Street is just a lazy rehash.
