The Parade, sponsored by the Galveston Firefighters Children Parade, will begin at 76:00 PM on Seawall Blvd at 22nd Street and proceed west to 45th Street, with fireworks to follow at approximately 9:15 PM from 37th and Seawall.

Jul 3, 2024 · The island’s 4th of July parade is an even event capped by fireworks later in the evening. Seawall Blvd is also the best place to see the Galveston Island Independence Day Parade. The parade starts at 6 pm and follows the Seawall. I recommend trying to find a spot to watch the parade around 22nd or 23rd streets.
Parade Date: July 4th, 2023. Parade Start Time: 6:00PM. Parade Lineup enters at 22nd Street and Ave P. Parade Route is Seawall from 22nd Street to 45th Street. Lineup Starts at 4:30PM. Early Check-in Available. Vehicle Liability Insurance is required and will be verified at the parade start. All entries must be decorated with a patriotic theme.

Following the conclusion of the parade, a 20-minute Galveston firework show will begin at 9.15 pm over the Gulf of Mexico near 37th Street and Seawall Boulevard!
