But at the same time, introducing any character so late and having MC quickly confinde in them would always feel a bit off no matter what. I also do like that they seem like more of a "brainy" sort of character and do hope that their involvement means that our approach to investigations will start to make more sense and less reliant on luck.

Year Two in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is the second level of the game. It has eleven chapters, thirteen Achievements, and six Side Quests.
In addition to the previous classes, the Main Character takes Transfiguration.
At the Start-of-Term Feast, Rowan Khanna shared with the Main Character that in their summer research they discovered a description of staircases in Hogwarts that no longer exists. Those staircases were mentioned in cryptic code as “the vanished staircases.” Later during the feast, the Main Character and Rowan realized Ben Copper was missing. They proceeded to search for their friend. When finding a clue that only led to another, one claiming to be found in another common room, they devised a plan for the Main Character to sneak into the said common room during the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin, with Rowan keeping watch.
They eventually discovered a hidden staircase in one of the castle corridors. The staircase led the Main Character and Rowan to one of the Cursed Vaults, but before they had the chance to investigate it, its door started shooting icy blasts at them. Unfortunately, Rowan got hit, and they had to retreat to safety. Rowan suggested that the Main Character seek out Bill Weasley for help. Bill eagerly agreed and worked to help train the Main Character to defeat the cursed ice.
Later on, the Main Character returned to the Ice Vault with Bill and another friend. Together, the Main Character, Bill, and their friend were able to open the vault, defeat the Ice Knight that was guarding it, and break the curse. Inside the vault, the Main Character and Bill found a notebook and a broken wand. A voice tells the Main Character to never let "her" find the other vaults.
