Superfly Stockman, also known as Superfly and Superduperfly, is the main antagonist of Nickelodeon's 42nd full-length animated feature film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series.

He is a mutated housefly who was the first mutant Dr. Baxter Stockman created before Cynthia Utrom stopped him. However, after years of living shunned and ostracized by humanity, Superfly gathers a whole legion of outcasted mutants and rallies them on to take over New York City and then the world by creating an army of mutants to exterminate all humans and enslave any survivors, becoming the first archenemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the process.

Superfly is shown to be vindictive, megalomaniacal, cantankerous, two-faced, cold-blooded, murderous, and violent who wants to destroy humanity for fearing and being unable to accept mutants and will crush anyone in the way of his plans.

However, despite his negative qualities, he is also affable to everyone(albeit only mutants), as when he befriended the turtles after he was overjoyed that they were mutants like him and his gang. His misanthropy was born when his father and creator Baxter Stockman was presumably killed by TCRI in a following raid in their house. Superfly also cares for his siblings so much that he had to raise them on his own, when he and his family go to visit New York for the first time, that’s where his hatred towards humanity is taken to an extreme as he kills one human who couldn’t stop chasing them.

These events molded Superfly into a vengeful and misanthropic murderer, as he's going to murder all of humanity to avenge his father. Said hunger for vengeance blinded him as during the climax, his own family turned against him since they didn’t agree on killing all humans since they met the turtles and Splinter, yet Superfly remained in his ways, as he still plans to exterminate humanity.

After being mutated into SuperDuperFly, he boasted his newfound strength and transformation as he starts wreaking havoc in New York and kills not only humans, but other mutants who don’t agree with him, thus nullifying his care for his gang in the process.

Superfly is a mutated, muscular, humanoid housefly with a giant right claw and a small left hand with his claw covered in muscles. He has long stick legs and two long feet thorns. He also has two little claws under him with hair coming from the back and big red eyes like any other fly. He has big wings being a mutant.

SuperDuperfly, his upgraded and further mutated form, maintains his compound eyes and wings. He becomes a horrifying hybrid of several animals as a result of massive exposure to the ooze while at the bottom of the ocean with sea life. He has the body of a blue whale with sea turtles on his torso and barnacles on his right fly arm. Furthermore, when crashing into the Brooklyn Zoo, he gains conjoined chimpanzees for a left arm with narwhal fingers, an octopus and giant squid for his "hair strand", conjoined horses for his right and left legs, oryxes for his spine, and a conjoined giraffe, elephant, crocodile, and ostrich on his face.

Superfly has a collection of inhibited powers he adapted during creation, which he has the last of Stockman's creations to be made under the sewers making him an intimidating and dangerous threat to the Turtles.

•Intelligence: Superfly has gifted intelligence, having been created with Stockman's DNA and genetics, resulting in him knowing many fields in science, such as being able to create a machine that he uses that only infects and kills humans, except mutants.

•Superhuman strength: Superfly is incredibly strong and powerful that he was able to step on and crush a fire hydrant with one leg in front of the Turtles.

•Superhuman speed: Superfly is superiorly fast that he can stealth-fully take down a group of T.R.S Agents at a young age while they were apprehending Baxter Stockman.

    Past

Some time ago, Superfly was just a regular housefly mutated by his human creator and technical father, Baxter Stockman, who wanted to create a mutant family. However, an organization led by Cynthia Utrom wanted Stockman's research and ordered him and his specimens to be detained. Superfly attempts to fight them off to protect his family, but Stockman is killed in an ensuing explosion that he took to save him. Taking his brethren to an abandoned shipyard to be safe, Superfly raised them over the next fifteen years. At one point, he attempted to integrate into society with his fellow mutants even though they killed their creator. However, they are quickly shunned by the humans, being deemed monsters. When one man in particular kept hunting them, Superfly retaliated by brutally killing him out of rage. Following this incident, Superfly, now believing humans are monsters, plans to wipe out humanity as a whole and allow mutants to rule the earth.

    Present

To make his plan work, he hires various human criminals to steal various advanced and highly secured technology from tech companies in New York City. He then kills them when they see what he looks like. Eventually, his crime spree leads to him having a run-in with four mutated turtles. He quickly realizes they were changed by the ooze just like him and his family and they become friends shortly after. However, that changes when Superfly explains his plan to the turtles. They start showing to be unapproving of his plan, which gets him to question their loyalty as he threatens them. He then has Mondo Gecko drive the truck the turtles are in. The turtles get the twist on them though as they hit the brakes, launching Mondo and the other mutants out while the turtles steal the car, prompting Superfly to chase after them for the satellite. He manages to get the part from them as the turtles are apprehended by Cynthia's men. After some time, Superfly and his fellow mutants are getting ready to activate the device, before being interrupted by the turtles alongside Splinter. The turtles manage to convince his fellow mutants to become good but Superfly tries to talk them back into being bad. His fellow mutants turn on him and attack him with the turtles, fighting back in pure disbelief and activating the device in the process. After the brief fight, the device's aim gets redirected to the water where Superfly fell and blasted all the ooze into the ocean, mutating him into SuperDuperFly. He then makes his way to New York City to destroy it and the world, causing great destruction to it. Eventually, the turtles realize that SuperDuperfly's blowhole has a heavy concentration of ooze and use some anti-ooze from T.C.R.I. to drop it in his blowhole, regressing him back into a normal housefly. But somehow, Cynthia later retrieved the de-mutated Superfly and brought him back to T.C.R.I. headquarters inside a tube. It’s unknown if she planned to return him to his mutated form.

•Superfly is a new character introduced in the TMNT franchise.

•In contrast to the source material and most adaptations of the TMNT franchise, Superfly isn't the mutated form of Baxter Stockman, who in turn is his creator and a more heroic character overall.

•In an early draft of the script, however, Superfly was Baxter Stockman, which is the reason that the action figure has some of Stockman's wardrobe on.

•Superfly serves as a dark counterpart to Master Splinter. Both are older mutants who came into contact with Stockman's mutagen and raised their respective families in the shadows. They both also attempted to socialize with the humans at one point in their lives, only to brutally become outcasts and be prejudiced by them, whereas the other members of their family still secretly wished they could get along with them. However, Splinter is against killing them all just to create a world where they could be accepted and eventually comes to realize that not all humans are bad people upon meeting April and that his hatred of them is unhealthy. Meanwhile, Superfly refused to let go of the delusion that humanity as a whole was bad and they had to die. Thus, Superfly serves as an example of what Splinter would have become if he hadn't let go of his xenophobic behavior, which he ironically realized after Superfly resisted the same words he said to the turtles and called out their similar hatred.
