Aug 22, 2013 · My first Atari computer was an 800XL and I noticed early on that the video wasn't as good as my friends' 800's. I always blam3ed it on cost reductions... I used the 800XL mostly on RF, obviously composite is not very good and Croma/Luma doesn't work (unless you mod the unit).
I have been looking at the 400 mini myself. My first Atari computer waa the 400, so this will bring back a lot of memories for me. Any negatives that you have found on it? Seems like a great little system.
It successfully flashed to a version from August of 2022, so progress! But now it's stuck in an update loop and won't complete setup. It finds an update every single boot, runs through it successfully, and... finds the update again the next time.
