I think what Brimstone is best at is rushing a site. Hes the only smoker that can drop 3 precision smokes instantly, but then hes out for the rest of the match. That means for pure smoke uptime he will be beaten by other smokers. But that doesn't matter if the match doesn't drag on.

Pretty much brimstone has the biggest holding advantage for enemies running through smokes (out of all controllers, Phoenix wall is an edge case). Brim smokes have nearly a 50ms advantage on run straight forward and 100ms advantage on run strafing compared to omen smokes.
