The range of positions that Christian thinkers take on this matter range from advocating for the complete isolation of women from leadership roles, to full acceptance of women as capable leaders (Staton 34).
In this paper I will explore the three diverging views on women in ministry in the church – (1) women can be a part of the church, serving as the preachers. (2) Women should fulfill their primary goal – to take care of the family, (3) Both men and women can be great leaders.
In this paper, we outline what Scripture says on women in leadership. We encourage you to have a Bible readily available as you read, and to read with an open and humble heart.
