When Dark Shadows was getting released on streaming, the Barnabas episodes were released first. They separated the pre-Barnabas episodes with a different title called Dark Shadows The Beginning. It's MPI and the streaming services that really make it confusing for new fans to see the beginning episodes because they act like it's a different show.
