- The creation of the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1–31) The Bible starts with God’s creation of “the heavens and the earth” in seven days according to Genesis 1.
- Story of the first humans (Gen 1:26–31; 2:8–25) God creates Adam and Eve in his image, and as the pinnacle of his creation. He places them in a perfect paradise called the garden of Eden.
