Dec 18, 2023 · Jumpscares are not allowed, regardless of warnings, and hiding the fact that it's based on FNaF could possibly either result in a lack of proper credit or a project that doesn't appear scary but in reality, is, tricking people into viewing it. Just don't try to emulate FNaF unless you can take away the scary parts.
2 reasons I think it has that reputation. 1. The entire games mechanics. Not being able to see much and having to rely purely on sound can be unnerving for most people. And what you can see is usually covered in shadows. Plus the fact that the game is really quiet and the jumpscares are really loud. 2. Animatronic designs.
Why is FNAF 4 so terrifying? Now, FNAF 4 is a tad bit more scary as it is through the eyes of possibly, William Afton’s Son. Imagine your father, making animatronics, which give you nightmares. In sister location, your a safe distance away from them, but in FNAF 4, your right up in the nightmares faces. Is FNAF 4 the hardest?

Oct 11, 2021 · Finally, FNaF 4 is actually fucking scary. In the last games and even the games that followed, I became numb to the jumpscares after enough time. This isn’t the case with FNaF 4.

Jul 31, 2015 · At first it's Bonnie and Chica with door scares being the most common, then Foxy enters the fray with his non-fatal jump scare, then Fredbear with his much quicker jumpscares, then Nightmare (with by far the worst jump scare, but the best 'appearance scares').
