In my opinion, manga is undeniably the better form of drawn fiction than comics despite its flaws for one simple reason: the continuity in comics is ATROCIOUS. Let's take a popular example: Superman. He died in the silver age of comics when he fought Doomsday.
So as my title suggest, I'm asking why lots of people consider manga better. Pretty much everyone that reads manga and watches anime at the same time tells me that manga is by far superior.
