It's just escalated with greedy people wanting more and more for their cars. The golf mk2 is a classic and has now suffered that fate of iconic must have cars.
The Oppressor Mk2 so far has been really good at just moving around, in or out of the city. It's maneuverable enough on the ground to still follow the streets of the city and when going over the mountains it seems to go faster on the ground than in the air. Mine is not upgraded currently, so it's just there for quick and convenient movement.
