  1. Jun 5, 2016 · The problem I wish to resolve is that at the end of some lines the document jumps to the next page. There is no page or section break inserted and no obvious reason for the spontaneous jump to the next page. Section breaks are set to 'continuous' and paragraph formatting has widow/orphan control and keep with next options checked.

  2. On the Line and Page Breaks tab of the Paragraph dialog, make sure that "Page break before" is not checked. If it is not, probably "Keep with next" is. If so, then very likely that box is also checked for the paragraph the photo is in and the one following. If all three can't fit on the page with the heading, then they will jump to the next page.

  5. This has happened multiple times in this document. There are huge gaps between the beginning of the page and the paragraph. There aren't any spaces or formatting in the blank area. I also tried unchecking widow/orphan control, keep with next, keep lines together, and page break before in the paragraph dialog box, but nothing is working.
