"Aeternum" is a continuation of New World with significant updates, not a separate game. Players will retain their characters and progress, with an option for a fresh start. Crossplay and cross-progression. New World will support crossplay between PC and consoles, allowing players to join existing servers and participate in cross-world matchmaking.
