andori1. •. idk what you're talking, all opera does is change the user-agent. floorp has a sidebar too and you can change the useragent for the sidebar too which won't take you to "a half baked instagram". (and the only browser that takes you to a new tab is brave but that's just because it sucks)
"most not all" is still untrue, lol. plenty of people use open source software in terms of browsers. majority of extensions are open source, as are the majority of browsers themselves. people pick on opera for this because it is genuinely one of the few outliers. sure, chrome isnt open source but chromium is and frankly the only real differnce between those two these days is one says google ...
