It literally takes MINUTES to load websites. Opera is the only browser I have this issue with, it's literal trash. I cleared some cache, and it's STILL slow. I just switched from Chrome to Opera for security reasons, which makes me want to switch back with how slow it is crashing. Im on MacBook.
Goto the URL opera://flags/#use-angle and play with the flag's settings (restarting after a change) to see if it helps. Also, goto the URL opera://gpu and make sure everything is hardware-accelerated. If necessary, you can also mess with the opera://flags/#ignore-gpu-blocklist flag.
Jun 9, 2020 · @leocg It takes too long to load a page. Usually about 30 to 60 sec. and sometimes longer. I tried to refresh after 60 sec. to try to see if it'd load the weather channel. It finally did after three refreshes.
I downloaded Opera GX this week, but it's close to useless. Sometimes it is slow as hell, sometimes it doesn't even load the page and says "Cannot open this website". It's weird because Chrome and Firefox are working perfectly here. I tried Reinstalling and installing in a different drive, but the problem persist.
