Try resetting keyboard shortcuts in settings. The alt key is supposed to bring up the menu. I wonder if the keyboard is messed-up a bit and pressing the Windows key is triggering the alt key too. Check if your keyboard has a switch to change between Windows and Mac layouts.
And since letters don't come out on the screen I can't do my searches. Would you try making sure? These are two different issues - characters are there but not visible OR you can't actually input them altogether.
Turn off keyboard RGB support in settings. By pulse if you have a rgb keyboard the gx may be using it like sending a pulse in color for opening and closing tab as a feature. Take a look in the GX Lights section in settings page, see if it's not enabled by chance.

Apr 6, 2022 · It's not the keyboard because it does it with external keyboards and even the virtual keyboard even if I disable the physical one. You cannot disable the Laptop keyboard attached to the motherboard. Even if you use some workaround, it would enable the next second in Windows 10/11.
