   As the title states, YouTube on Opera GX is extremely slow, and it's been this way for literal months for me. It takes something around 45 second to a minute and a half to simply load a video. I've tried clearing my cache, among other things suggested by people but nothing has worked.

   For me, it was an outdated version of opera causing the issue. If you want to update it, all you need to do is click the top left corner with the opera gx logo, and scroll down to update and recovery, or in my case, there will be an update recommended with a red dot next to the tab.    Fixed it, you need to right click the speaker on the right corner and head over to volume mixer and higher the Opera volume. I FOUND A FIX. So basicaly 1. turn on the youtube video that you want to watch. 2.open another youtube tab and play an video. 3.pull out headphones and let video play.
