The general consensus seems to be that, Arcane is very highly budgeted, but it baffles me how Arcane doesn't cost more money to produce. Here's a list of recent feature animated movies that are done in the same style as Arcane + their budget:
arcane means mysterious, unknown, secret. A lot of games/fantasy use it as a catch all for describing anything magic. I'm guessing the show is about Cait solving a mystery about jinx/vi while the nerds (heimer, jayce, viktor) harness the power of skarner's family to make hextech or some shit.
