  3. Plains, as there is grass and not sand, and it’s usually flat. Has to have forest or at least trees nearby. Also has to have some water, as you don’t want to travel 10 km for some farm water. Caves nearby are preferable, but not necessary. That’s it YW. My only req is that there is a sheep not that far away.

  4. Well, when I am looking for a place to make my FIRST base, i usually look for something that is generally flat, easy to morph to my liking, stuff like that. Since it is the first house, I am not that picky. Once I am settled, and I am outgrowing the space, i go looking for other places, using a map to help me. Hope this helped you out at all.

Like the Taiga biome, there are trees aplenty that provide building materials for your shelter. Wolves spawn in this biome, and you can tame one for protection and companionship.
