Jan 29, 2018 · The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is located on Indigenous ancestral lands on Treaty One Territory. The Red River Valley is also the birthplace of the Métis. We acknowledge that the water in the Museum comes from Shoal Lake and are grateful to the First Nations that care for that water.
