To get YouTube working again in the Chrome browser, you need to address the underlying problem. Issues that could prevent YouTube from playing videos include:

Aug 24, 2021 · I am experiencing an issue with youtube videos not loading on all browsers (Chrome, Firefox & Microsoft Edge). Sometimes the youtube main page does load but the videos won't (stuck on load screen of the video). Sometimes there is a connection error from the browser.
- Disable Hardware Acceleration. To disable Hardware Acceleration in Chrome, open Google Chrome and click on the Menu button (by clicking on three dots button on the top right corner).
- Clearing Browser Data. There are high chances that some browser data is conflicting with the loading of the website. This might be a very basic fix, but in this case, it can be proved a highly reliable one.
- Force close and restart Google Chrome using the Task Manager. Start by opening the Task Manager by hitting the CTRL + Shift + Esc button combinations.
- Manage the conflicting extensions. There are high chances that the extensions and toolbars installed on your browser might be conflicting with the loading of your website.

Point to More tools and click Clear browsing data…. 3) Ensure the checkbox next to Cookies and other site and plugin data and Cached images and files is ticked. 4) Then click Clear browsing data. 5) Restart Chrome and check to see if the YouTube video plays.
