Feb 4, 2022 · Both are great cars, but we definitely like the 2018 better. Chevy listened to the Gen 1 Volt owners and made many improvements to the Gen 2, both large and small. It's quieter, more powerful, longer range, has great fuel economy if you don't have a lead foot.
