For me, it's nice to have an actual replica that plays original carts. It's fun to collect the different games. I have a few in the collection. With more to add. Also, I'm glad Atari is re-releasing games again.

Every time you plug in a cart, the console dumps the ROM and squirts it to an emulator. This takes five to ten seconds, in stark contrast to the immediacy of the original 1970s console.

  6. Feb 11, 2024 · It is a SEGA Master System and Mega Drive controller adaptor made for the original consoles. You can connect controllers from both systems and they work great with the Atari 2600+. It only costs £15 and definitely recommended! The MEGA 7800 controller adapter works great on the Atari 2600+.
