It doesn’t matter how many other books we read, the Harry Potter books will always have a special place in our hearts.

If you have read the books (and hopefully you have) here are a few reasons why you should read it all over again: 1. The playbook for The Cursed Child comes out July 31st.

    • Teaches You about Friendship. Through thick and thin, Harry, Ron, and Hermione remained the best of friends. That is one of my favorite things about Harry Potter.
    • The Characters Are Great Role Models. Harry shows courage, Ron shows Loyalty, and Hermione shows Intelligence. All are qualities a person should strive to display.
    • Teaches You about Courage. One of the main themes of Harry Potter is to remain courageous no matter what the odds. That is one of the biggest reasons you should re-read Harry Potter; it will inspire you to stand up for what is right, even in the face of adversity.
    • Lets Your Imagination Run Wild. With spells, creatures, and everything magical, it is easy to let your imagination run wild when re-reading the Harry Potter books.
  4. Why not? I've just started reading the series again (for the first time since the 7th book came out), and you really pick up on things that are significant six books down the road. It's equally special the second time you read them through.

  5. I re-read the first 3 books about a year ago. The first is literally just a childrens book, and is not good at all. The second is a little better in terms of world building and characters that have some thought behind them, and the third is a little better still.
